Senior Java Developer
Spring, No SQL, Maven
A company based in Southampton are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is looking to make a difference. The company are in the throes of creating software for brand new products and would like the Senior Java Developer to be a big part of a team that will craft world-class products for web and mobile. Thus you will be involved in new development focusing on Java 8+, they will also consider other versions.
The ideal Senior Java Developer will be open-minded, reflective and have an eye for improvement as you will work in a close-knit team. This role will also give you a chance to work on the latest cutting edge technologies.
Key Skills
- Extensive commercial Java development experience
- Spring / Spring Boot
- NoSQL Stores (Ideally Mongo DB but open to others)
- Maven / Gradle
- CI/CD using Jenkins Pipelines or similar
- GIT / Github
These skills would be advantageous:
- Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform
- NodeJS / Cloud Functions
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Python / Golang
