Job description
Senior Java Developer required by a established software company based in Southampton.
Due to continued success the company requires a Senior Java Developer to join their highly skilled team working in the big data space with the very latest technologies and tools.
The successful candidate is likely to have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar and relevant commercial experience in a similar role focusing on Java and/or back end web development.
Key experience;
- J2EE
- JSON, HTML, XML
- Database design
- Responsive design
- Version control
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous;
- MongoDB or similar NoSQL database
- Hadoop
- Cross platform programming
- Knowledge of any other programming language - Go, Ruby, C++ etc
