Job description
Senior Mechanical Engineer required by a market leading company based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing engineering team. You will be responsible for all aspects of design and development of the mechanical hardware for their portfolio of wireless communications products.
On a day to day basis you will be;
- Defining and reviewing product specifications and delivering these to customers' requirements
- Produce detailed estimates of design content of proposals
- Prepare design implementation and design reports
- Mechanical design using 3D modelling CAD tools
- Generate and test prototype systems
Essential skills;
- Successful completion of projects whilst working in a 3G/4G technical environment
- Good understanding of 4G technologies and architecture
- 3D CAD experience
- Experience of design for manufacture
