Senior Software Developer / Senior .Net Developer
We are seeking a talented Senior .Net Developer to work with an awesome digital retail company with a great brand name, leading edge technology driven environment and the opportunity to progress your career.
As a developer in this talented team, you will be exposed to a range of .NET internal business systems, applications and high traffic customer facing websites. You will find work highly enjoyable and challenging using initiative and innovation to find solutions to wide ranging technical problems, every day is different!
Ecommerce is a competitive and fast moving environment so you will be comfortable working on a variety of project situations. Working in an Agile environment you will be keen to improve products and services, add value through technical competency and be an active team player making suggestions and engaging in open forum debate.
As a Senior Developer you will have a breadth of knowledge across C#, MVC, .Net in a full stack environment. There is more to this role than purely coding and you will contribute to design decisions and help shape the roadmap of technology and process. Mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team is another important element this role so a good team player and confident communicator is essential.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
We're looking for around 4+ years industry experience in the following areas:
- .Net 4+, C#, ASP.Net
- MVC3 +, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks
- Testing Frameworks: NUnit, Moq, MSpec
- Data & SOA: Microsoft SQL Server, No SQL DB's (Raven, Redis), ORM's, nServiceBus
- Industry experience of using best practices for code design (SOLID, design patterns)
