Job description
Senior Network Engineer required by a high tech company located in London. The Senior Network Engineer is likely to have achieved, or be studying towards their CCNP qualification and will have proven commercial experience with Cisco routing, switching & wireless.
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for;
- Architectural design & management of a carrier grade network
- Security & firewalls
- Creation & maintenance of network documentation
- Overseeing the company's Network Management System
Key experience;
- CCNP qualification (completed or in progress)
- Cisco ASA
- Carrier grade Cisco routing, switching & wireless
- Multicast technologies - L2 & L3
- Network design
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but are not a prerequisite;
- Digital video over IP networks
- IPSEC
- PaloAlto firewalls
- BGP
- Cisco 6500/6807
- Cisco 38XX & 39XX switches
- QoS
