Job description
Senior PHP Developer / Technical Team Lead required to join my clients expanding development team based in Brighton, East Sussex. You will report directly into the Software Development Manager and will lead and manage a team of up to 6 developers working on business projects implementing high quality technical solutions to solve business problems.
As the Technical Team Lead you will own the development roadmap for the IT products, and you will plan and deliver improvements to those products within the agreed timeframes. You will lead the sprint planning and daily stands for your team. This role is likely to be around 60% hands off as you will be required to lead and manage your team whilst working directly with business stakeholders.
You will either be a Senior PHP developer looking to take the next step in your career to manage a team or currently a Team Lead looking for a new challenge/more responsibility.
Essential experience:
- PHP
- Application development
- MySQL
- SCRUM environment
Any experience in the following would be advantageous but not essential:

- Gearman
