Senior Pre-Sales Consultant - Fleet

Technical pre-sales consultant required by a very well-established client based in Fleet, North Hampshire. The Pre-Sales Consultant will work closely with the sales team to promote our clients software products to prospective customers globally. Our client are a leading IT solutions and services group providing software solutions, consultancy and managed services.

Skills & Attributes required:

  • Able to work and prioritise own work where required
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines when applicable
  • Well-presented, confident, and articulate
  • An understanding of accounting and investment concepts and activities
  • A broad understanding of the financial services industry
  • Broad technical knowledge including an understanding of different development environments, operating systems, system deployment options etc.
  • Previous software solutions expert / sales support experience
  • Reasonable technical skills, including a basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the sales cycle and assisting the sales team where needed
  • Building relationships with the clients Management, Support and Development teams to help ensure assistance is available when needed
  • Providing both remote and face-to face demonstrations of software to prospective customers globally
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of target customer industry trends, drivers and regulatory initiatives
