Senior Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Lead
Salary based on experience up to £55,000
An experienced Quality Assurance Engineer is urgently required to join an innovative business in Surrey. This is a pivotal role in the IT team, working closely with the existing Test and Project teams in delivering a variety of innovative Software products globally.
The ideal candidate would offer experience of owning the Quality Assurance process through the full life cycle, delivering Greenfield projects on a variety of platforms.
Responsibilities will include coordinating internal and external teams in order to create an efficient QA release cycle. You would be expected to contribute towards; web and mobile application testing, test-case definition and execution, setting QA strategy, and cloud service verification, as well as interacting closely with internal teams and taking the lead on QA process where required.
Candidate profile
- Must have an extensive background in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
- Can demonstrate influencing or implementing test strategy or improving Quality Assurance methods
- Demonstrate working full lifecycle on high priority product releases, and have some experience of Release Management
- Strong Agile, SCRUM understanding
Technology:
- Good understanding of integrated testing and continuous integration; Jenkins or similar
- Knowledge of automation testing and related tools or any OOP experience (Java, C#, JavaScript etc)
- Test tool experience, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber or similar
- Good knowledge of REST / API's is highly desirable
