A great opportunity for an experienced Software Developer / Web Developer to join an established Agile development team based in Hampshire. The Software Developer will conduct full stack development, taking ownership of tech projects and mentoring junior developers.

As well as the opportunity to stay hands-on in developing responsive applications in C# and JavaScript , the role offers the chance to lead on projects, mentor junior members and introduce new ideas to the senior management team. The Senior Software Developer will require expertise in .Net C#, MVC/.NetCore, JavaScript and SQL Server with any exposure to Continuous Integration (CI / CD) and relevant JavaScript libraries (Angular, Knockout, etc) being highly desirable.

Essential Requirements:

  • 4-5 years + commercial experience as Software Developer
  • An excellent communicator, able to communicate with experienced technical staff and mentor junior members
  • Experience with Web and RESTful services
  • The ability to interact with external customers
  • Experience of following Agile, SCRUM processes

The following technical skills are essential;

  • C#, ASP.NET
  • SQL Server
  • MVC or .NetCore
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Angular, Knockout, Bootstrap or similar

Highly Desirable:

  • Team leadership or mentoring experience
  • Implementing SOLID principles
  • Degree educated
