As well as the opportunity to stay hands-on in developing responsive applications in C# and JavaScript , the role offers the chance to lead on projects, mentor junior members and introduce new ideas to the senior management team. The Senior Software Developer will require expertise in .Net C#, MVC/.NetCore, JavaScript and SQL Server with any exposure to Continuous Integration (CI / CD) and relevant JavaScript libraries (Angular, Knockout, etc) being highly desirable.
Essential Requirements:
- 4-5 years + commercial experience as Software Developer
- An excellent communicator, able to communicate with experienced technical staff and mentor junior members
- Experience with Web and RESTful services
- The ability to interact with external customers
- Experience of following Agile, SCRUM processes
The following technical skills are essential;
- C#, ASP.NET
- SQL Server
- MVC or .NetCore
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Angular, Knockout, Bootstrap or similar
Highly Desirable:
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- Implementing SOLID principles
- Degree educated
