Senior Software Engineer - Varied Technology
£65k-£75k + benefits
Senior Software Engineer required by a successful, growing technology company located in Oxford, Oxfordshire. Due to continued success the company is looking to expand its existing, highly skilled software engineering team.
The successful Senior Software Engineer should be proficient with at least one programming language and be prepared to work in a varied technical environment. A wide variation of products and projects mean that the company is entirely flexible in its approach to technology.
This role would suit an experienced Senior Software Engineer with knowledge of Python, Java, node.js, C# or the like who is looking for a challenging, varied role working in a fully Agile, forward thinking company offering a great working environment and the chance to work with up to date technology and software tools.
The successful Senior Software Engineer will take responsibility for architectural and design decisions and will play a crucial role in the development of the product roadmap.
Key experience
- Knowledge of at least one programming language e.g. Java, Python, C#, C++
- Agile
- JavaScript, HTML/5
- AWS, Docker and/or Azure technology stacks
- Software architecture and design
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite;
- WebGL / OpenInventor
- One or more JavaScript framework e.g. node.js
- DevOps
