Job description
Senior Software Test Analyst required by a high-tech software company located in Southampton. Due to continued success the company is looking to expand its software QA function.
The successful Software Test Analyst will work in close conjunction with the company's cross platform software development team, project managers and application support engineers to ensure the optimum quality assurance levels are met in relaton to software output.
The Senior Software Test Analyst will be tasked with;
- The development, execution and maintenance of automated test cases
- Helping software teams to understand code averages and improve the quality of their work
- Development and implementation of testing frameworks, solutions and tools
Key experience;
- Manual & automated testing
- Appreciation of a scripting or programming language eg Python, Perl, Java, C++, SQL
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but is not essential;
- Git
- Non-functional testing
- Load or performance testing
- ISTQB certification
- Cross platform experience
