Senior Test Automation Engineer - £50k - £60k - Walton-On-Thames, Surrey
Senior Test Automation Engineer required by a global software company based in Walton-On-Thames, Surrey. This is a new position due to planned growth and will involve joining an Automation Test team with an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining test automation strategies
- Working alongside the development team to agree a test scope within the product release schedule
- Create/modify test plans and test cases
- Risk-based regression testing and providing results
- Investigate and record any problems found during testing
Essential experience:
- Development, maintenance and execution of test automation scripts
- Experience of testing complex software solutions
- Knowledge of 1 scripting language (Ideally Python)
- Ability to test in a multi-platform environment
Any of the following would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite:
- Squish
- Eclipse
- Visual Studio
- Git
- Jenkins
- QT
- Docker
- REST APIs
- DevOps environment
