Senior Web Developer / JavaScript Developer
React, Redux, Vue, TypeScript, Agile
Bristol area; commutable from Swindon, Newport, Gloucester
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Front End Web Developer / JavaScript Developer to join a forward-thinking Software company at an exciting time. The company use JavaScript extensively in the front with several Greenfield projects running and promote an excellent company culture and relaxed working environment.
The company invest heavily in IT and this role will specifically work with a new tech hub utilising JavaScript and related libraries (React, Redux) so strong commercial experience with JavaScript is essential, and any commercial full stack development skills are an advantage.
The Front-End JavaScript Developer plays a key function in the development of all the UI, Web and customer interacting services for several high-profile public facing applications. The Front-End Developer will need to demonstrate commercial experience of modern development practices (Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD etc) and a minimum of 2 years commercial development experience.
Essential Requirements
- JavaScript (2-5 years+)
- React, Redux, Angular, Vue or similar libraries
- HTML5 / CSS / SASS
- Strong Agile, SCRUM understanding
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with new technology
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
Nice to have's
- TypeScript experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of Microservices
- Full Stack experience is an advantage; .Net, C#, etc
The company offer a salary based on experience up to £50,000 + benefits as part of their package.
