Software Architect / Application Architect
Microsoft, Azure, SQL Server, .Net, Agile
Hampshire; Fareham, Portsmouth

The Senior Application / Solution Architect will play a key role in designing the company's Application Architecture and leading the relevant IT Teams, with specific focus on implementing innovative ways to improve and utilise the company's current technical resources and improving technical project delivery.

The role will work across all areas of the business with the main technical focus around Microsoft technologies; a good understanding of .Net, C#, MS Azure, SQL or similar is required.

Key requirements:

  • A strong Application / Solution Architecture background and the ability to demonstrate current experience in these areas
  • Excellent understanding of Application architecture
  • Experience of leading successful development teams and the ability to influence others
  • A background in Web development is preferred, Ideally Microsoft based technologies
  • Cloud product experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Awareness of new and emerging technologies and how it can be utilised
  • Experience of leveraging technology to improve customer engagement and product efficiency's.
  • A commercial understanding of TOGAF and Agile/SCRUM
  • Excellent communicator able to liaise with all areas of the business
