Southampton, Hampshire, Remote Working up to 4 days per week (post lockdown)
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Backend focused Software Engineer to join a fast growing AI technology company with an awesome product and an exciting future.

Back End Developer - Scope
Working closely with the product team you will be designing and developing new product features and platform critical enhancements. This includes data integrations from 3rd party APIs.

Your experience:
We are looking for talented Software Engineers with 2+ years commercial experience working with back end technologies.
A Degree in Computer Science or similar mathematical/scientific programming discipline is highly desirable.
- 1 / 2 + years commercial use of Node.js and related frameworks
- Fluency in the use of SQL, ideally MySQL
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines and aggregating data from 3rd party sources
- Developing and integrating APIs & API documentation
Other beneficial experience includes
- Python
- JavaScript frameworks
- Web scraping
- Financial APIs
- Exposure to DevOps
- Machine learning study or practices
