Software Engineer - Remote working available
Software Engineer required by an established company with an established big data software engineering team working remotely. Due to continued growth an expansion the company is seeking a Software Engineer to join their existing, highly skilled team focusing on the development of enterprise scale, big data software systems.
The successful candidate is like to have a passion for big data and associated technologies.
The successful Software Engineer will work with software architects and end users to design and scale prototypes for big data software solutions.
Key experience
- Hands on software development with Scala
- Kafka - deployment and configuration
- Apache Druid
- Containerisation - Docker & Kubernetes
Prior knowledge or an appreciation in any of the following would also be advantageous;
- NoSQL databases
- Hadoop
- Python
- Parallel programming
- Microservices
- Confluence, JIRA, Git etc
Remote working available. Video interviews and remote onboarding possible.
