Software Engineer - Java - Learn Golang
Bournemouth: New Projects + Remote working

This is a great opportunity for an experienced/senior Software Engineer with current commercial Java or Golang experience to join an established business using the latest technology. The company are looking for an experienced or senior Software engineer to become part of their team developing new products and platforms in Java and Golang.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a mid-level developer looking to step up into a senior role or a senior developer looking to work in a dynamic and technically challenging environment. The company are prepared to offer full cross-training into Golang from Java and work with the latest technologies.

The position offers scope for progression, an excellent company culture and a starting salary from £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience + benefits and flexible working.

Essential Requirements

  • Java or Golang programming
  • Restful Web Services / Microservices
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud environments etc

Nice to have's

  • Experience with modern Javascript frameworks
  • MySQL / MongoDB
  • Domain Driven Design / Clean Architecture and design


  • BDD / Test driven development
  • Source Code Management (Git)
