Software Support Engineer

1st line Software Support - Godalming - £25,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a IT Support Engineer to join a leading provider to provide software support for their bespoke management software. You will be given the chance to learn new and build on existing skills whilst supporting international customers. The right candidate will be confident when speaking to customers and will have a passion for IT Support.

Skills and responsibilities:

  • Customer facing
  • Need to be keen to learn highly complex management Software
  • Needs to be able to take a problem and recreate in local HG environment so it can resolved or be reproduced for Development Team
  • Working in a front line team of 2 with another 4 in immediate assistance
  • 50-60 tickets per week
  • After a period of time on-call support (very rarely phoned)
  • Any Microsoft Team Foundation, Azure, VM, SQL (SQL Server or Oracle) would be useful but not critical
