Software Support Engineer

Job description

A Software Support Engineer is required for a software company in Newbury providing real time, automated business critical systems to high profile business.

As a Software Support Engineer you will work alongside the Service Delivery and Development Teams to resolve issues and highlight fixes that are required. You'll be able to create and implement new tools within the Support Environment.

The Software Support Engineer will investigate problems with the code based and database layer, and provide solutions

You will also be involved with development of a new support tool and documentation for use by the internal Service Delivery team

As Software Support Engineer you will have:

  • Technical degree such as Computer Science
  • SQL ( T-SQL / PostgreSQL )
  • Mongo DB or Python
