Winchester, Hampshire

£22,500 to £26,500 + Training with progression prospects

We have an exciting new opportunity for a either an experienced candidate or a recent IT graduate to join one of the UK's leading data management company's in their head office based in rural Winchester. They work closely with a wide range of clients including blue-chip enterprises, government agencies and small businesses across the UK, providing bespoke, fully integrated, end to end data storage solutions.

The role of Software Support & Implementation Analyst is focussed on support, configuration and implementation of software and systems components used internally.

You will be responsible for the data flow, implementation and configuration of software products for valued customers, often working simultaneously on projects with parallel timelines for delivery. You will have a passion for software and providing excellent customer service.

The company are looking for candidates that have good knowledge or experience with SQL, ideally T-SQL and an excellent understanding of data flow. You will receive hands on training to enable you to understand their software products. This is an excellent opportunity to get a solid foundation of software implementations within a commercial environment. This opportunity is open to recent graduates and or college leavers who have studied IT and more specifically MS SQL, T-SQL and XML. The salary will reflect your level of knowledge and ability in these key areas.

Essential skills

  • Technical or educational experience with SQL Server - Ideally T-SQL
  • Excellent understanding of manipulating data / data flow
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and verbalise this to strong characters

Desirable Skills

  • XML experience
  • C#
  • SSIS experience
  • Previous experience in IT Support
