Software Test Analyst / Software QA Engineer
£22,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
Hampshire; near Waterlooville
A great opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Test Analyst to join an established technology company developing award winning software, applications and products.
The role offers the opportunity to progress and receive support and training into a more senior QA role. The Test Analyst will join an established QA team conducting manual and automation tests alongside Development and Support teams.
It is essential candidates can demonstrate 2 years+ commercial experience in a similar environment, a strong grounding in Web or system testing and have strong Excel / SQL Server skills.
The ideal candidate will also have the ability to learn new technologies quickly, understand Agile/ SCRUM best practice and have a proactive approach to QA and project delivery.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years software testing experience
- Web Application or Systems based testing experience
- Microsoft Windows / SQL knowledge
- Understanding of Agile / SCRUM / TDD
- Excellent communication skills
- UK resident
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Automation testing (Selenium Webdriver)
- OOP; C#, Java or similar
