Systems / ERP Manager - Southampton
£40,0000 - £50,000 + Benefits packages
Our client is looking for a Systems Manager with experience in ERPs/ internal intranets to join the team in their main offices in Southampton, Hampshire. They are looking for a candidate with previous experience in Access/ SQL focused ERP systems and experience in successfully implementing these into a busy, fast paced workplace.
The client is a privately owned and very successful Building services company. Established over 40 years ago they have continued to grow the business and now work on large scale projects across the country focusing not only on mechanical and electrical services but also air conditioning units, integrated facilities maintenance and manufacturing but also the heavy engineering and processing industries.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and Implement the development of core internal systems within the business and provide effective management tools for both specific projects as well as the business in general.
- Work closely with stakeholders to achieve a strong design platform
- Maximise opportunities for the integration of systems
- Report directly to Board level - effective "management information" reporting and communication style is a must
- Main point of contact in relation to the core systems from internal questions to support calls and providing feedback etc
- Assist with the development of overall IT strategy moving forward
- Ad Hoc projects as and when required
- Maintain the integrity of the core financial data in the ERP system
- Map and document key process workflows and controls to ensure they are kept up to date
Experience/ Attributes:
- Client focused and proactive in dealing with support issues
- Experience working with Access and SQL based systems previously
- Previous experience in managing and implementing internal ERP system
- Proficient in Crystal report Writing
- AOI Data Reporting
- Experience in managing a new IT/ Accounts package implementation
- Ideally a finance background / experience
