Technical Author - Christchurch - £30,000 - £35,000
Windows, MS Office, SQL Server
Technical Author required for a well-established client based in Christchurch, Dorset. The Technical Author will play a key role in producing and maintaining documentation for our client's software and hardware products. You will be involved in creating and maintaining documentation using input from developers, requirements and designs. You will be expected to use your own knowledge and experience to help improve the clarity and quality of the documentation that already exists, and those that you create.
Skills required:
- MS Windows
- SQL Server
- MS Office
- RoboHelp
- Strong understanding of English Language
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining user manuals
- Creating and maintaining help files
- Creating and maintaining internal documentation
- Creating and maintaining marketing literature
- Maintaining the corporate style within the documentation
- Capturing and writing the minutes for monthly departmental meetings
