Job description
Technical Author required by an successful software company based in Southampton Hampshire. Due to continued success and consistent growth the organisation now seeks an experienced Technical Author with relevant experience from a similar 'software house' environment.
The successful Technical Author will work in close conjunction with the company's software development teams sourcing information to ensure efficient documentation is created. This is a challenging role involving the creation of complex documentation from scratch rather than editing the work of others.
Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial;
- DITA / XML
- Tools like XMetal, Oxygen, Arbortest etc
- Any software technologies or programming languages
- Creation of training guides and / or tutorials
