Are you looking to join a growing company with a fantastic culture? My client is seeking a ERP Technical Consultant
to join their team.
My client develop a bespoke ERP System which is written in a 4GL similar to SQL. They are looking for someone who is self-motivated and organised, someone with experience of B2B consultancy who can be on customer site, manage the implementation of the ERP
You will be able to / have experience of:
· Full project lifecycle
· Working on client site, dealing with technical queries, troubleshooting in relation to the ERP
· Advising and training customers on the ERP system once implemented
· Configuration of the ERP application
· Design, develop, test the ERP Software as necessary (see technical section below)
· Implementation of the ERP on client site ensuring it integrates with their current systems / applications
· Business acumen, knowledge of or the ability to learn manufacturing, finance etc as per ERP modules
Technical Skills:
· Any development skills - SQL, Oracle, .Net, Java, Python (please note this is not a developer role)
· You don’t necessarily have to be a developer however you must understand - what a loop is, what a cursor is, what a variable or a function is?
· Knowledge and/or experience in programming/structured development techniques
· Experience in creating test cases and test scenarios would be advantageous
This is a company where you would be expected to get involved various tasks and turn your hand to most things so you need to be comfortable with this. You will spend a lot of time on client site so you need a valid driving license.
