Lead Developer / Team Leader / Technical Lead
C#, MVC, JavaScript, SQL Server

We are working with a fantastic company with a great brand name and global product reach to find a talented Software Development Team Leader.
Reporting to a Head of Technology and responsible for a team of 10 on / offshore developers, you will be tasked with overseeing and contributing to the design & development of a range of B2C ecommerce back office systems.
Working with a range of Microsoft and web based technologies, you will be tasked with leading from the front, applying your expertise of software development to help design, architect, develop and deliver and range of high-availability web & systems products.
You will have worked with full stack technology, managed teams of 5+ developers and assisted & advised in decisions governing product design, tech road-map, process and development best practice.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Technical Leadership, including line management, of a small team of Developers
- Software / Product Delivery including leadership of development sprints, scheduling, quality and efficiency.
- Developing enhancements, maintaining systems and ensuring best practice across all products.
- Supporting and mentoring the team
- Documentation of existing and new features
Essential Skills
- Experience of technical leadership including line management, strategic decision making and technical input.
- Commercial experience with C#/.net, Javascript and SQL
- Web development experience (particularly with ASP.NET MVC or other MVC frameworks)
- Knowledge of unit testing
- Inquisitive mind-set and excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
