Technical Pre-Sales Manager (Telecoms)

Camberley

£50,000 - £75,000

Technical Pre-Sales Manager (Telecoms) required to join a niche successful telecoms software house based in Camberley. You will be part of a strong technical team and have full responsibility for all technical aspects of the sales engagement. You will be responsible for driving continuous sales growth across all market sectors building on their strong reputation for technical innovation and product capability.

Skills Required:-

  • Creation and Delivery of Technical Presentations
  • Understanding of mobile telecoms network architectures
  • Technical Requirements Gathering
  • Ability to communicate the benefits of complex technical solutions

Desirable Skills:-

  • Experience of mobile core network protocols and functionality
  • Experience of IP network protocols and functionality

You will be responsible for:-

  • Developing a deep understanding of all technical areas / products within the business
  • Understanding the architecture and differentiating characteristics of current products
  • Complete clear and concise technical documentation
  • Working closely with the business development team to build a global network of customers and system integrator partners
  • Providing partners with the necessary technical understanding and the ability to be able to build solutions using your product suite
  • Lead the technical sales engagements as required
  • Attending relevant exhibitions and trade shows in the UK and abroad as necessary

You day to day role will include:-

  • Writing reports and sales literature
  • Organising product training activities
  • Attending trade shows, conferences and other relevant marketing events
  • Delivering technical presentations
  • Preparing tenders, proposals and the technical elements of complex quotations
  • Working with the support team to deliver focused pre-sales support
  • Helping in the design and documentation of turn-key solutions
  • Transitioning pre-sales technical understanding of customers' solutions into the support team once a purchase has been made
