Technical Support Engineer - Farnborough - up to £25K

Job description

Technical Support Engineer is required to join a leading IT services company from their head office based in central Farnborough.

The role of a Technical Support Engineer will be help support all internal users of their IT systems along with giving technical support to their external customers as well. You will be the first point of contact for all incoming support queries so you would be expected to effectively triage, escalate or perform first time fix for any issues.

The ideal candidate for the Technical Support Engineer role will be working within an IT Support role at the moment and have some experience of working within a helpdesk environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least some experience within:

  • Windows desktop systems (7-10)
  • Windows Server 2012/2016
  • Exchange
  • Office 365
  • VMware / Hyper-V
  • IT Security
  • Networking

As you will be liaising with my clients customer base then your communication skills, both written and verbal, must be very strong.
