Test Engineer - API testing
Automation, Selenium, C#, Robot, Agile
Hampshire; Southampton, Winchester area

An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join growing QA team who work alongside software developers in testing and automating a complex product suite. The ideal candidate will offer commercial experience with automation testing (Selenium, Robot, C#, or similar) however training and support will be given to candidates who can demonstrate strong academics and the ability to learn quickly.

Knowledge of Agile best practice, TDD or BDD is required and any experience with RESTful APIs, Web API's or Continuous Integration is highly desirable.

The role will cover a few responsibilities including Analysing API specifications for test design and creation of test suites, performing automated tests, logging the results and monitoring to test completion, perform Regression testing and Establish tests within a CI environment.

Essential Experience

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' commercial software testing experience
  • Experience with automation testing; Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, Robot framework, etc
  • Familiar with Object Orientated Programming; C#, Python, PHP or similar

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Continuous Integration; Maven, Jenkins, Ant
  • Robot framework

The business offers a competitive salary and benefits package including a bonus and flexible working. The role is Mid-level so candidates with 2-3 years+ experience and salary expectations between £33-40k will be best suited.
