Software Test Engineer / QA Analyst - Selenium, Agile, TDD
£35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Hampshire; Fareham - near Portsmouth, Southampton
A great opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Test Analyst / Automation Test Engineer to join an established ecommerce / technology company who have recently made significant investment in their IT team.
You will join an established, sociable IT team testing complex award winning Web based software applications with scope for progression as the team continues to grow in size.
The role offers the opportunity to receive support and training if required however will best match candidates with 3 years + commercial Testing / QA experience and some exposure to Automation testing or OOP (C#, Java).
The ideal candidate will also have the ability to learn new technologies quickly, understand Agile/ SCRUM best practice and have a proactive approach to QA and project delivery.
Required Technical Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years software testing experience
- Web based testing experience
- Unit testing - JUnit or similar
- Microsoft Windows / SQL knowledge
- Understanding of Agile / SCRUM
- Familiarity with development practices like BDD, TDD
- Excellent communication skills
- UK resident
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Selenium Webdriver
- OOP; C#, Java, JavaScript
- Gherkin, Maven
