Trainee IT Support Engineer / 1st Line Support

£18,000 - £20,000

We are recruiting for a Trainee IT Support Engineer to join a well-established company near Rochford as a 1st Line Support Engineer. This company have obtained massive investment for the business and are therefore going through a real period of growth.
The role of Trainee IT Support Engineer will involve working as part of a team providing technical support to customers. You will be tasked with managing inbound and outbound calls and emails and will be trained to diagnose faults, working towards resolution.
Key skills you will learn:
- Network support - Routers, Firewalls
- Telephony support - covering fixed line queries, leased lines & data connectivity solutions
- Ticket logging and record keeping skills
Strong communication skills and a passion for IT are required to be considered for this role.
Please note, this role has standard working hours with shifts ranging between 8am - 6pm. There is no weekend work involved.
