We are working with a well-known digital retail company with a great brand name and an exciting range of career opportunities. We are looking for a UI Developer / Front End Developer to work on a range of development projects within a digital platforms team.

The role will see you working in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment translating UX design into working product features and prototypes as well as refactoring, refining and optimising existing features. The ideal candidate will have experience with conceptualising, designing and developing user interfaces for ecommerce.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years working on the UI of an enterprise scale company, or similar experience
- Experience with Responsive Web Design
- HTML5
- CSS3
- ES5/ES6, jQuery
- Git/version control experience
- Experience of testing across multiple devices and browsers
- An experienced, competent UI developer, who is proactive and happy to work as part of a team.
- A great communicator, able to articulate a schedule for deliverables and remain on track.
- Comfortable in speaking about web technologies and capabilities to an audience with ranged understanding.
- Excited by cutting edge front-end technologies.
- Aware of coding standards and accessibility practices.
- Always eager to learn new technologies and embrace Agile ways of working.
- Passionate about producing high quality work and have close attention to detail.
Desired skills
- Experience of BEM methodology
- Experience of SASS or LESS
- A Reactive Framework (React.JS, Angular.JS, Angular 2)
- An understanding of working with REST API's
