This is a remote working role with very occasional / quarterly office visits (Newcastle) and this role has been deemed inside IR35. Our client are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to assist with entry/junior level IT Support, this is an initial 3-month contract inside IR35 (engagement via an FCSA Umbrella Company). This is a great opportunity to join a thriving and busy support team and handle some of the day-to-day IT support aspects as well as gain exposure to basic customer problems and resolutions. As a junior member of the IT Support team you will assist by manning the IT Service Desk phone, taking initial calls and triaging issues for resolution or escalation. You will log tickets, taking detailed notes of issues and where possible resolve simple tasks such as Account unlocks/ password resets etc allowing the wider support team to focus on larger ticket problems. To cover the core business hours this is a shift role where you will work 5 days each week covering approx. 1 weekend per month (rota dependant). This is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 3 days working on site per week in Portsmouth. This is a hybrid working role with 2 days office based per week in Basingstoke (3 days remote per week). This role has been determined OUTSIDE IR35. As the Contract Cyber Security Analyst you will be responsible for the interface between the Security Operations team and the companies Change Portfolio. This is a critical role to ensure that the delivery of changes, whether new applications / infrastructure or changes to the companies existing landscape, are done with a view to reducing Cyber risk across the organisation. This role will work in conjunction with the Service Introduction process in IT Operations to ensure that implementations are secure from vulnerabilities and are adequately monitored. Responsibilities Working with the Change processes and the stakeholders involved to engage and assess Change to the company landscape. Create an engagement and assessment / tri-age process, with associated documentation to make the engagement process re-usable. Drive governance of SecOps and operational IT teams in the wider organisation to ensure the security requirements of the business are being met. Collaborate with Information Security throughout the Change process to understand risk.
