Overview

Spectrum IT began working with SaaS company Prevalent Ltd in April 2021, at a time when they were facing common but significant hiring challenges: difficulty attracting top talent, limited internal resource to screen applicants, and an interview process that was proving slow and inefficient. With just one HR manager and no dedicated talent acquisition team, most of the workload fell to busy hiring managers - making it difficult to hire effectively while scaling at speed.

We took the time to understand their goals, challenges and culture in detail. We shared salary benchmarking, market insights, and best-practice process recommendations, and worked closely with leadership to redesign the hiring approach so it was faster, more efficient and more enjoyable for candidates.

A key improvement was outsourcing first-stage screening to Spectrum IT, enabling us to filter hundreds of applicants and present shortlists of 3–5 high-quality candidates per role. With a streamlined two-stage interview process, turnaround time dropped dramatically, from several weeks to 5–7 days on average.
