UJET, a fast-growing US technology company transforming the customer support industry, partnered with Spectrum IT in 2025 after securing $76 million in Series D funding to expand operations across Europe. With plans to establish a brand-new engineering hub in Porto, Portugal, UJET required a recruitment partner with strong technical expertise and deep knowledge of the regional talent market.

UJET chose to partner with us to support the initial build-out of the Porto office, beginning with the creation of two new Scrum teams. Using our specialist understanding of the Portuguese technology landscape and broad network of engineering talent, we helped source skilled candidates capable of driving product innovation and supporting rapid European growth.

Working closely with senior leadership and HR teams in the US, we defined role requirements, hiring objectives and team structure - supporting the ongoing development of the company’s technology strategy.

To strengthen collaboration and gain deeper insight into the culture and vision of the business, we attended a UJET company event in Porto, meeting key stakeholders from both the US and Portugal. This engagement helped ensure a seamless recruitment process, fast decision-making, and clear communication across global teams.
