Technical Author

From time to time, we get asked to recruit Technical Authors. They need to be able to ‘understand the users' needs’ and ‘probe the subject-matter-experts (SME’s) at the same time. They cannot just parrot what the SME has said; the SME has been living in their ‘code’ for so long they forget that the “obvious” assumptions are not “obvious” to a user. They also need strong writing/communication skills and a deep curiosity about the subject matter and audience.
