Customer Support Engineer

Job description

Due to internal promotions an ambitious IT Support Engineer is required by a technology solutions provider who develop their own applications & products, used extensively throughout the public sector as well commercial organisations.


Working across 1st & 2nd Line issues you will provide excellent customer service when responding to a variety on client issues, being empowered to take ownership from the initial call to resolution.


As part of an experience teamed there is support on hand if issues become too challenging.


The IT Support Engineer will be required to have the following skills and experience:


· Ability to logically troubleshoot IT & Software issues.
· Experience within an IT Support role
· Experience of Windows Administrative task such as, registry manipulation, FTP and use of the command line.


It would be beneficial to have
· Experience of Networking
· Unified communications
· SIP, Wireshark, VOIP
· ITIL


This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career who are interested in expanding their skill base and knowledge.

This role can be worked remotely but able to attend their office in Poole when required, the IT / Software Support Engineer is paying £27,500, plus bonus, Free parking and more.
