UI Test Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a UI Test Engineer to join brilliant client's team based in Brighton. As a UI Test Engineer, you will be responsible for UI Test Automation using Playwright and TypeScript so previous commercial experience with these tools and technologies is essential. You'll become a vital part of an already successful software team who producing excellent software for a market leading company. The role will cover various aspects of the testing life cycle with a specific focus on test automation. The role will require you to work closely with the development team, so strong communication skills are essential. The ability to improvise at both a tactical and strategic level is important to aid in prioritising short-term problem solving against longer term strategic goals.

Skills required:

• Automation experience with Playwright
• TypeScript
• UI Testing
• SQL
• Experience in creating front end and API automated test projects
• JavaScript and any other front end experience is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
