OXO Tower Reward

Spectrum IT Team at OXO Tower

Gemma Pratt Spectrum IT Updates

Every quarter we recognise and reward our highest achievers at Spectrum IT Recruitment. This started as a luxury meal, giving it the name 'Lunch for Legends'. It has since developed into a variety of rewards but the name has stuck. Check out Jasmine's story of the 2015 QTR1 Lunch for Legends reward at the OXO Tower.

April 2015

After a successful first quarter of 2015 a lucky few of the Spectrobots whizzed up to London for a day of merriness and to celebrate an excellent start to the year!

In true Spectrum style the drinks were flowing early doors, the atmosphere full; and following a few bottles of bubbly on the train we arrived at Waterloo just in time to take in the sights of the South Bank before heading straight to the OXO Tower.

Stepping out of the hustle and bustle of London we ventured on up into the skyline and headed straight to the bar! We soaked in the sights and our drinks (G&T galore!) whilst we waited to be seated and soon after we were welcomed by a menu of sheer deliciousness.

Steak, duck and bream ordered we tucked in and enjoyed lots of laughs and micky taking of each other.  Then it was time for more wine. After dessert and cheese we decided to change the tempo of the day and head over to the ME by Melia hotel at Covent Garden to get the cocktails rolling.

Pornstar martini’s and Gin & Tonic’s ordered we enjoyed the music and good atmosphere and lots of laughs.

As the evening rolled in we headed down to Fleet Street to enjoy some of the bars and pubs and got stuck in with everyone else who crammed into the small spaces enjoying the buzzy atmosphere.  We followed the road down and headed to St. Pauls to take in the views and got a bit distracted along the way…

We hopped in a cab and headed to Covent Garden to round off the night with a night cap and reminisce on the glorious day we had!

A great day spent with even greater company!
