2018 has been a bumper year at Spectrum HQ, by the time we wrap up for the festive break we will have delivered over 800 recruitment hires across the permanent and contract teams. A significant difference from our first years of trading during the perilous days of the 2008 recession!
10 years on and the business is thriving; permanent and contract hires at a record high, the company has grown to 30 people and we have significantly grown our client and candidate networks. With ever increasing investment in recruitment technology, a new HR system, marketing tools, tech user groups and sponsorship we are well prepared for an even bigger 2019.
Our 10th year birthday celebrations included a visit to the New Forest Water Park, running through the forest in full camo getup shooting lasers like we were teenagers (we’ll never completely grow-up!), a summer BBQ & sports day and much more. We also wanted to share the celebrations with our fantastic client base – we hope you enjoyed the birthday cakes!
Moving into 2019 we are very excited about the year ahead. The demand for IT & Tech talent is incredible and shows no sign of letting up. There is a wealth of opportunity in the region for both job seekers and hiring companies and we will do our utmost to support you in achieving your goals.
This is an exciting time for technology and we hope to play another significant role in 2019 to ensure the region is able to attract and retain its best IT talent.
