£28,000 - £35,000
A skilled Database Consultant / Implementation Consultant is required to join a small but successful development company based near Petersfield. The role of Database Consultant / Implementation Consultant will be to join the IT Operations team alongside 3 other consultants to support to my clients' growing external customer base.
My client is currently going through an exciting time with their software; having recently released new version upgrades for their software; they now require a skilled Consultant to work across data migration, remote installations and configuration of software on to client's server. This will also involve training the system users on how to best use the software.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Strong SQL and RDBMS skills are essential
- Advances Excel user (Pivots & Lookups)
- Work across the full software implementation lifecycle
- Pre-sales support
- Requirements gathering & analysis
- Database Configuration
- Data Migration
- Client training
- Post implementation support
- Driving license & own car is essential for occasional travel.
As this role is customer facing, strong communication skills are vital. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a similar role and will e looking to work for a fast growing and vibrant business.
