Developer in Test / Senior Test Engineer - Selenium, OOP, Agile
£40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
Hampshire; near Fareham, Portsmouth
A great opportunity for a Senior Test Engineer / Developer in Test to join an established SaaS technology company offering innovative solutions for their external customers. The business has recently made significant investment in their IT team and this role has come about due to growth

The QA team work on a variety of interesting, complex products in partnership with the development teams, so the role will best suit experienced candidates with a strong QA / OOP background.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about QA and be able to demonstrate a background in QA/Software Engineering with the ability to use a variety of technologies and tools to solve complex problems. The role will work closely with the Development teams in helping automate the company's tests using Selenium Webdriver. so previous experience in Test Automation and strong OOP skills are essential.

The role offers the opportunity to receive training in new technology where required, however preferred candidates will be able to hit the ground running and offer 3 years+ commercial Testing / OOP / Selenium experience.

Required Technical Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years software testing experience in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Selenium Webdriver, using a recognised OOP language (PHP, C#, Ruby)
  • Web-based testing experience involved in the full Test life cycle
  • Good understanding of TDD
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • UK resident

Desirable skills:

  • PHP programming
  • Big Data or Machine learning
  • Currently in a 'Developer in Test' position
