Job Description
Spectrum IT are looking for a Contract Senior React Developer to work on a clients greenfield project. You will be working as a part of a growing tech function within a forward moving digital marketplace set up, you'll build fast and accessible front-end applications. This includes working in collaboration with the UX and Product teams to help refine specifications. You'll build products on top of our new, API driven platform using (among others) React, Redux, Redux-saga and Node.js. In addition you'll support to set standards, make architectural decisions and help to shape the future of the clients platform. As an integral part of the agile development team you will work together to deliver quality applications that deliver on commitments to all customers.
Skills
- A proven background in producing React/Redux apps and a strong knowledge of React lifecycle.
- Experience with hooks, selectors, memorisation and state management.
- Modern JavaScript (async/await, ES6 modules, generators etc).
- Working in cross-functional, lean agile teams.
- CI/CD and hosted solutions like CircleCi, Travis, Codefresh.
- Test Driven Development (TDD) is a must
