Title: Test Lead
Type: Contract
Duration: 3 months
Location: Portsmouth, with remote working options
IR35: Outside IR35 expected; role still to be determined
Role:
Our client is in urgent need of a Contract Test Lead to focus on driving their QA forwards and the delivery of testing resources to their proejcts. The Test Lead will be required to stabilise the QA function as the business continues to grow this area further.
With predominantly a manual testing environment, the Test Lead could be involved in Automated testing as the client looks to implement their testing suite further.
This is very much a hands-on testing role, and certainly requires a Test Lead that is able to "firefight", so it will be a great opportunity for a contractor that enjoys that type of role and can excel in such a scenario.
Skills & Experience required:
- Leading/managing a test team
- Manual test scripting
- Automated testing (C#, Test Complete, Selenium etc.)
- Hardware testing (Android app etc.)
- Regression testing
- Smoke Testing
- Strong communication
