DevOps Lead - AWS
London/Basingstoke - Hybrid working
£100,000 to £110,000 - Bonus, Private Medical, Enhanced Pension
We are recruiting for a DevOps Lead on behalf of a well esteemed client of ours based out of Basingstoke but have 7 offices based all around the UK. They are market leaders in the automotive industry, offering solutions across insurance, vehicle maintenance, breakdown cover, and much more. They have undergone a huge IT transformation programme over recent years and have expanded their offering with the introduction of electric cars and the vast amount of data that is available to them as a result of this. Making continual growth through the past 3-5 years, they are looking to bring in a new Principal DevSecOps Lead - it is safe to say it's a very exciting time for them!
This role will be primarily hands off in nature, covering the design and delivery of the DevSecOps strategy, as well as leading the development and implementation of DevSecOps projects across the Digital function. Responsibilities also include architectural and solution design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and occasional troubleshooting to resolve issues - as and when required!
Technical Skillset:
- Knowledge of Cloud environments, including on-premise or SaaS COTS
- Experience leading/managing DevOps Engineers
- AWS - ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS
- Azure - App Services, AKS, VM, Web Apps, ACS, Azure Functions
- Containerisation/Microservice based architecture
- Version control solutions - Git/GitHub/Azure Repos
- Docker, Kubernetes/ECS
- (Beneficial) Working in Java/Angular/.NET environments
- (Beneficial) CDN/WAF Solutions - Cloudflare, Akamai
- (Beneficial) Delivery of automating Mobile App projects
- (Beneficial) Integration knowledge of IAM solutions - ForgeRock
- (Beneficial) Digital Content Management solutions e.g. Sitecore
