Job description
Graduate / Junior Electronic Design Engineer required by an established company located in Southampton, Hampshire. Due to continued success and planned expansion the company is looking to hire a Graduate / Junior Electronic Engineer to join its existing, highly skilled team.
The role would suit a junior engineer with a relevant degree and some commercial in electronic design, specifically FPGA or firmware design. Applications considered from graduates with a relevant degree in Electronic Engineering without commercial experience. Extensive training and support to be provided by a team of highly experienced design engineers.
The Graduate / Junior Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for
- Contributing to the development of new products
- FPGA design
- Embedded software / firmware development and modelling
Essential Experience / Knowledge
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- FPGA design
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but is not a prerequisite
- Communications protocols eg SPI, I2C, etc
- Version control software
- Embedded software or firmware design
