Product Security Officer - Software

My client is a software company developing state of the art public safety systems for law enforcement and vital government organisations. They are looking for a Product Security Officer to join their team and champion security proof processes across the product development lifecycle. In this role you will work closely with product managers, architects, developers, and tester to ensure that every step of the development process meets the highest of security standards enabling their products to be Industry leading.
Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in Software/Application security
- Experience in adoption and execution of Security development lifecycle practices
- Experience in security architecture and design of security processes
- Updating and tracking development lifecycle policies
- Translating policy into day-to-day processes for developers
- Defining and tracking security processes and related training
- Defining clear criteria for security reviews
- Co-Ordinating the response to major vulnerabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate security issues to executive management, customers, and development staff
