Android Developer, Software Engineer, Marine Electronics

Salary £50,000 - £70,000 plus benefits
Fully Remote, 100% remote working. Must be UK based.
A great opportunity for a talented Software Engineer to work with an award-winning marine technology specialist building next generation geospatial & navigation systems.
The role of Software Engineer best suits a postgraduate from a Computer Science, Electronics (or similar) discipline with 3+ years commercial experience in mobile apps development. You will need to have a good grasp of clean architecture and design using MVI, MVVM or MVP alongside strong commercial experience with Android + Java or Kotlin.
The role involves all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial concepts and group consultation through to design, coding, testing, debugging and software release. You will participate in product design discussions including feature analysis, system trade-offs and UI design.
Summary of Skills & Experience:
Android development
Java and/or Kotlin programming experience
Knowledge of Agile
Exposure to AWS Devops with CI/CD - beneficial
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar scientific / engineering field.
Knowledge of embedded systems, electronics and/or engineering solutions design is beneficial.
