Senior Developer - Java - AI / R&D
Lancashire based company + Hybrid working. Office 1-2 times per month.
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Enhanced Pension
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer - Java to work with a successful and fast-growing AI software and analytics specialist with ambitious plans and a great product. The role is part of a strategic AI initiative that aims to accelerate the development of innovative products and features utilizing Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research and Advanced Analytics.
Applicants do not need to have previous AI experience (however would be desirable) but will show a passion for AI / ML and be keen to learn.
They can offer very flexible remote working and will move swiftly through the short interview process.
Technical Requirements:
- Java (ideally with Spring or Spring Boot)
- HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / Typescript
- SQL Databases (preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL)
- Eclipse Link / Hibernate
- Unit Testing / TDD
Highly Desirable:
- AI / ML experience
- CI/CD (Azure Pipelines/Jenkins)
- Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- Service oriented and microservices architectures
- REST Web Services
- Python
