Senior PHP Developer - Laravel
West Sussex; Work from home options
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
This company are going through an exciting phase of digital transformation; they are growing significantly and are heavily investing in every part of the business; in particular - IT.
They are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join the team; playing an integral role in assisting In the digitization of their business - working closely within their Agile Delivery Squad on SaaS projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to influence and shape the company's technical journey.
Requirements:
- More than 3 years commercial experience with PHP
- Good knowledge of Object Orientated coding and SOLID Principles
- Recent use of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Extensive knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL
- Proven experience building and maintaining APIs
Desirables:
- Prior working experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
- Experience with automated testing such as TDD, BDD, E2E Browser testing
- Their systems sit on AWS, so experience with EC2, RDS, S3 and LAMBDA is beneficial but not essential
